Well-versed in Sanskrit and astrology, we are believed to be Vaisyas and belong to the Kailasa Gothram. Our community is spread across the erstwhile Walluvanad region, especially Vayillyamkunnu and also in Palakkad district of Kerala. Agriculture and business were the traditional ways of earning our livelihood.
